In a bid to strengthen awareness around renewable energy adoption in Sarawak, Zinsolar Engineering Sdn Bhd conducted a dedicated briefing session with the team at Public Bank Berhad, Tun Ahmad Zaidi Branch on 13th May 2025.
This engagement marks another important step in Zinsolar’s mission to educate and collaborate with financial institutions on the practical, economic, and environmental benefits of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
Led by Zinsolar’s technical and sales team, the session introduced Public Bank officers to the evolving solar energy landscape in Sarawak, with a special focus on how the Net Energy Metering (NEM) Sarawak Scheme allows customers to reduce their electricity bills by exporting excess solar energy back to the Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) grid.
The briefing also featured a presentation on Zinsolar’s Hybrid Solar PV Packages, including a high-demand configuration, 5.5kWp Solar Hybrid System paired with a 10kWh Lithium Battery, designed to provide around-the-clock energy availability, even during power outages or at night.
The conversation also touched on how banks can play a proactive role in promoting solar technology through green financing initiatives—making it more accessible for homeowners, SMEs, and commercial building owners to invest in clean energy solutions.
